Crunchy Carpets

Clean socks are a privilege, not a right

Signs Your Daughter is a Junkie

May 10, 2007 by Kerry Sauriol 6 Comments

Adam and I woke up around 7:30 this am.  All was quiet, apart from the dog whose bladder was fit to burst.

No Caity.

Usually she is at the side of the bed telling me ‘I waked up’ in a just the facts kind of way.

We headed downstairs and there she was in front of the tv, putting in a Wiggles dvd in the machine.

‘I watch Wiggles’ she told us.

Ooookay.

She isn’t even three yet.

Time for an intervention.

Intervention? Are you nuts?? Put a glass of milk or juice in the fridge the night before- let her know- SLEEP in!! We get very few moments like this… enjoy it! 😉

How fast they figure this all out! Our dvd player is too high up, otherwise I’m sure my daughter would be at exactly the same thing.

So long as it’s with Greg, the original Yellow, I’d say no intervention is necessary. Watch for signs of the replacement Wiggle, tho.

I’d say she’s a take-charge kinda gal and should be encouraged in all safe endeavors which interest her! As to The Wiggles, I’ve no opinion having so far avoided them…we’re a Fraggle Rock kind of homestead.

My 3 yr old is right there with your daughter, only it’s either Thomas or the Heffalump movie.
