I LOVE that you did this! Am bookmarking it RIGHT NOW.

Not sure if it’s useful to you up in Vancouver, but if you ever come down to Seattle and it decides to rain on you, I have a list of places to go that are indoor or covered. See: Seattle Rainy Day destinations

    Keep up the good blogging!

Wow! Thanks for sharing your goldmine of things-sure-to-thrill-and-delight-the-kidos! Boredom, be gone! My kindergarten twin terrors have (THANKFULLY) already discovered Starfall.com (in September, I think) and it has been a godsend. I’m sure the others with which I’m not familiar will be equally fantabulous. Thanx again. 😉

Oh and by the way, thanks for listing and linking my blog. Every bit of future traffic that is sent there as a result, is sincerely appreciated. Thanks in advance. 🙂

Hey – my kids will thank me for this, so I’m thanking you. They love to go to matchbox.com and play their dirt biking challenge and other mindless, nonviolent trucks and cars games. You’ve really done your research. I’m impressed.

    Thanks everyone!
I had been meaning to list them for a while and when I found that the local neighborhood house was working on a list too..though more canadian centric..I had to get going…help me remember too.

Another cool thing is these kids atari games for the PC..my kids are addicted to the Tonka Construction one and the Tonka Rescue one. And they are cheap. We keep finding them at the local grocery store for ten bucks! Caity at two can do the simple games…and she is doing really well with the hand eye coordination and so on.

So computers can’t be all bad!
