We were very fortunate to see the opening night of the latest Disney on Ice show – Dare to Dream, and I have to say, I think this one was the best one yet. The skating was spectacular and having three short stories to watch was more attention getting for short attention span kids like mine.
I brought my two Princesses along with Caity’s BFF, and after spending a fortune on special Disney sno-cone’s and popcorn, all were happy to watch the lovely spectacle unfold. We had just re-watched Tangled too, so it was fresh in my preschooler’s mind. Though I still had to keep explaining what was happening and who was the bad guy 🙂
What made the show especially fun for the girls was watching their new friend skate in the show. When I had tweeted about getting ready to attend the event the other day, I had a reply from a Mr. J. Jacobsen who happens to be one of the principal skaters for the show, and obviously a great connector online and off. The kids, of course, thought that was COOL and so were thrilled to see him on the ice last night. Thank you sir for obviously enjoying your role on the ice and off, it is what makes a Disney show extra special.
