My daughter was HUGELY thrilled when I told her we had been given tickets to see Disney on Ice: Let’s Celebrate on the opening night of their Vancouver run.
The show runs to November 28th at the Pacific Coliseum and then out at Abbotsford from December 3 to the 5th.
My son (8) was not so thrilled….we had to point out that the show wasn’t a PRINCESS show and for ALL kids….and that yes he WOULD enjoy it.
And he did. Though he won’t REALLY admit it.
Lets Celebrate is a fun show where Mickey and Minnie take us around the world as they look at all sorts of things we celebrate…from Birthdays to Halloween, Mardi Gras to Christmas.
Each event was filled with familiar songs and all the Disney Characters our kids love.
Caity was in heaven when all the Princesses and their paramours skated in honour of Valentines and my son enjoyed the Halloween segment filled with the many Villains we all love!
Disney knows how to put on a show….the costumes were lovely, the effects great and the skating top notch. Beautiful pair skating, with amazing lifts and throws…..all done with a warm smile for the very enthusiastic young audience.
The Hawaiian Luau impressed my son when the skaters had “REAL FIRE!” and Lilo and Stitch is one of our family faves.
So it was great for Disney to put on a show for both boys and girls to enjoy.
The tickets for the Abbotsford show are a great range from $12 to $72! All good seats!

I thinks this show has enough time on air right? I remember of disney on ice when I was just a kid and now I am 29. My little girls would love it.
