We eat a lot of yogurt products in this family and the kids are already big fans of many of the products from iOGO. Tara loves the ‘nano’ products as they are perfect for her lunch box. Despite the yogurt love, I was a tad dubious about how MUCH Yogurt we could consume and so had not purchased the large format pouches that iOGO has. Did you know you can buy 2 kilograms of yogurt? But the pouch format is absolutely fantastic. We stuck to the 975 gram format and again LOVE the pouch format, because they don’t take up a lot of room in our apartment sized fridge and the kids (even 6 year old) had no problem helping themselves.
Indeed this format seemed to encourage the kids to finish the various types we had on hand and that NEVER happens. I couldn’t keep the reusable containers clean for the mass amounts of fruit and yogurt combinations that left the house. Myself, I was partial to chia with the greek yogurt..but now need some honey for sweetness.
Tara preferred strawberry yogurt with an assortment of fresh fruit.
We also may have broken our blender and thank the gods for the Magic Bullet. There has been a LOT of smoothie recipe inventing going on here. The iOGO website has some nice and easy recipes to get the novice smoothie maker started, as well as other great ideas for what to do with all that yogurt.
Yogurt and smoothies are probably the easiest way to get picky junk food loving eaters to be enthusiastic about healthy food. The kids have been having so much fun with their experiments and trying new flavours and fruit mixes and I am happy to see them eating and drinking something I know is good for them. We found that coconut milk was a great addition as well as orange juice for the greek yogurt.
I love these pouches and am happy to have my fridge filled with so much that is good for me and my family.

I did use the greek vanilla yogurt.. Lo. Kinda love it at the beginning but wish there was a zip option to open the bag when it ‘s almost done…
